If you were walking in the woods this time of year you would see that the sun is
shining and the bird are calling to each other. Suddenly there is a scream that
echoes through the woods. all falls silent including the screams.
"That ought to teach her not to listen to others
conversations." a soldier says as he walks away from the girl that
had screamed.
"sir what will the King say when he finds out that
you killed his only daughter." Another soldiers says in fear.
"Nothing, He will think that Goden soldiers attacked
her and killed her."
"But sir Dria herself will strike us down for having
done that to the princess" He said.
"No harm will come to us and now one will know, just
keep your trap shut and no one will even know it was us. One slip up and I will
kill you myself."
"Yes sir." the soldier said and stood at
attention.
"At ease soldier, now lets leave before she is
discovered."
As the soldiers vanish from sight the girl they thought was dead, rises from the
ground where she had lay bleeding. "I must warn Konan
they plan to attack and it's not on my fathers orders." She takes to
the woods. making sure no one sees her. leaving a trail of blood behind her she
makes her way to the Emperor's Castle. once inside she tries to find her way to
the throne room, she calls out for help but falls before reaching the Konan
Emperor.
Several Konan soldiers hear her calls for help and send word to the Emperor that
a strange woman has appeared in the castle, and that she was wounded badly. The
Girl opens her eyes to find that she has been placed in a bed and has a cloth on
her head. she tries to stand but is to weak to do so. word is sent to the
Emperor that the girl has awaken.

Soldier One

"Emperor Sir, The girl has awaken and asks to speak
with you right away." One of the soldiers said as he came into the
Throne room. "She said it was urgent and a matter of
life and death. and that you come now Sire." Other soldiers and a
few members of the Court stood near by. The soldier that had come in the room
bowed before Hotohori.

Hotohori

He nodded. "I shall come straight away. Thank
you." He got up, then asked the soldier, "Where
can I find her?"

Haktura
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Right this way Sire." He stood after
kneeling to Hotohori again and led him to the girls room. Once stepping inside
he motioned toward the girl. Her hair is strawberry blonde with hazel eyes. She
looked to be about 18 years of age and had bruises all over her exposed skin
where she had been beaten
Upon entering the Girl tried to sit up but could not do so. "Sire!
I am sorry you have to see me in this condition." She said with a
sad expression upon her face. "I
over heard some of the Dria Soldiers Plotting to attack your palace, sire."
She went on to explain that she had been on her way home from a walk in
the forest when she had come across the soldiers and had heard their plot, in
backing away from the scene she had stepped on a twig which cause them to spot
her. The one in charge had attacked her and left her for dead. She went on to
say that the emperor of Kusco had no idea about the attack being planned.
Looking up at the emperor of Konan she apologized. "I'm
sorry Sire, I never introduced my self. My name is Haktura Kunzite, And I am in
your debt for having saved me from almost certain death." She bowed
her head since it was the only thing she could actually do with out getting
dizzy.

Hotohori

He followed the guard into the room and over to the bed where the girl lay. The
emperor listened intently, his brow furrowed when she mentioned the planned
attack on his land. When she finished and introduced herself, Hotohori nodded
his head and said, "I am glad to meet you Miss
Kunzite. You shall get well, then we will plan what to do." With a
last smile, he turned and walked towards the door.

Haktura

"Sire please If I may, Could I please send word to
the emperor of Kusco and tell him that I am safe." Haktura looked at
Hotohori as he started to leave. "He.. Um.. He is my
father sire and he would be completely devastated if I were not to come home
tonight" She blurted out she closed her mouth quickly, she hadn't
wanted The emperor of Konan to know she was the Princess of Kusco yet but it was
to late. she had let it slip that Kusco's emperor was her father.

He turned as she spoke. "Your father, the emperor?
Are you saying that you are the princess of Kusco?" he stood in
thought.

Haktura
-----------------------------------------------------------
"I.. Yes I am, and I must get word to my father and
let him know that I am safe Sire." She replied trying again to sit
up.

Hotohori
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Yes, yes. If you must." he said, still
thinking.

Taka

"Princess I'll take word to your father"
Taka said as he came into the room. he turned to Hotohori. "You
look troubled sire may I ask what is bothering you?"

Hotohori

He looked up at the newcomer. "It's just these
events. Who would've done this?" he turned to the princess. "Do
you have any idea and why?"

Haktura
-----------------------------------------------------------
Haktura looked up at Hotohori. "I heard them mention
something about finding the Priestess for Dria, and that Goden was very close to
finding theirs. Tomias (the leader) said that someone and come to him and said
that you were holding this priestess here. He thought he should attack now
before anyone knows what hit them." Haktura went on the explain that
she would have heard more if she hadn't stepped on the stupid twig trying to get
closer to the soldiers.
Taka left the room and prepared for his journey to Kusco to see Tomni (the
emperor of Kusco)

After explaining all that she had heard Haktura lay back on the bed. She sighed
and asked Hotohori "Shouldn't you set up a few more
soldiers to guard the palace walls tonight?"

School was just starting for the day but Miaka was no where to be seen. If you
were to walk into the bed room of this girl you would see that she held the book
of "The Universe Of The Four Gods" in her hands. something had called
her to take the book out of hiding.
Yui decides to skip school as well and goes over to Miaka's home. She finds her
reading what has been happening in the book.
Mierana Kisunei was walking past the apartment complex where Miaka lives when
she decided to go and visit her friend. Her and Yui arrive at the same time. and
go inside.

Miaka

Miaka sat on the floor of her room, hovered over the book what appeared to be
"The Universe of The Four Gods". Her eyes were glued to the pages, and
the way she leaned forward it looked as though she was very interested in what
she was reading.
The only that thing tore her focus away from the book, was the faint sound of
her door knob turning. Her head whipped around to see Yui standing in the
doorway. Miaka was frozen in her spot, "Yui.." She
said, almost afraid of what her friend might think of her reading the book. The
clever thought of stashing the book under her bed never crossed her mind. That's
Miaka for you.

Mierana Kisunei

Mierana, who had been standing behind Yui when she opened the door, stepped out
from behind Yui and waved at Miaka. "Hi Miaka!"
she said before blinking at the book, "What's that
your reading?" she asked, stepping forward to peer at the book.

Miaka
-----------------------------------------------------------
Miaka remained sitting on the floor. She closed the book and held it to her
chest, trying to keep Mierana from being able discover what she was reading. She
nervously laughed, "Uhh.. Hey Mierana, What's going
on guys?" Then, Realizing she was asked a question. Miaka's eyes
jolted down to the book, and then quickly back up to Mierana. "Oh,
This? Just catching up on a bit of school reading." Moving from the
floor to her desk, She fumbled to hide the book among her other textbooks.
If it had just been Yui, Miaka might have actually confessed to that she took
the Universe of the Four Gods, and the current happenings in the book. But,
Since Mierana did not now of everything that happened with them she decided to
keep her mouth shut.

Mierana Kisunei

Mierana frowned in mock disappointment at not being told what the book Miaka was
reading was, not believing that it was a school textbook. "Aww,
come on, you can tell me. Cause I don't think that's a book for school."
she moved forward slightly, though she had no intention to go looking through
Miaka's textbooks herself to see what the book was.

Mierana's movement caused Yui to stumble and bump the desk. The Book fell to the
floor and opened to the spot that Miaka had been reading.

Miaka

Miaka gasped, and tried to reach out before it hit the ground. But, The book was
already open and in the exact spot she had been reading. More words were
appearing on the page. There was no way now she could cover up the fact that it
was not school reading. She sighed, "It's not school
textbook. It's The Universe of The Four Gods."

Yui

Yui though she had recognized the book, but had been hoping that her dear friend
hadn’t been stupid enough to take it from the library. Not wishing to
alarm their other friend she quickly picked it up off the ground as she looked
at her friend with a cool yet stern face. ”Miaka, you
know you shouldn’t be reading this. It’s, it’s too close to your
next exam and you should be concentrating on your school work.” Yui
didn’t want to be holding the book, let alone in the same room as it anymore.
It held too many painful memories for her. Having seen the words appear on
the page she suddenly felt a cold shudder run through her wondering why the book
was still writing as though the story was continuing, praying that Miaka
hadn’t done something to inadvertently start a new story.

Mierana Kisunei

Mierana had caught a glance of a page before Yui had picked it up and could have
sworn text was appearing on it. She mentally shook herself, words didn't just
appear in books, did they? She looked at Miaka, "The
Universe of The Four Gods?" she queried, "What's
it about?" she asked, looking between Miaka and Yui, slightly
suspicious as it seemed neither of them wanted her to see the book.

Miaka

Miaka's shoulders drooped, as she stared down at the ground. "I
know. Sorry, Yui." She replied, in a soft voice. She could tell Yui
was disappointed in her for reading the book. Better yet, Just having the book
in her room. That expression on her face gave it all away. They've been best
friends since they were little. So, Of course Miaka knew exactly what that look
meant.
Miaka looked up at Mierana, "Oh, Well--Umm.. Ya see.
It's--" She found herself struggling for the right words to explain
it. The story behind the book was too long and complex to just come out, and
say. She glanced over to Yui for help with what she was trying to say.

Yui

Yui watched as her Miaka's shoulders moved down and her voice fell slightly as
she apologized to her and felt badly for being so harsh. She couldn’t
blame Miaka for wanting to check out the book again as her experiences had been
such good ones, having made so many wonderful friends and allies while she had
been in the book world.
Sighing softly as she heard Miaka stumble over her words of explanation to
Mierana, Yui turned around placing her hand gently on Miaka’s shoulder looking
at her for a moment with a soft expression on her face before looking to Mierana
as she held the book tightly in her other hand. ”It
would be hard to explain exactly what this book is about. Some might say
it’s the greatest love story ever told, others their worst nightmare come to
life. Personally,” She tightened her tone making it clear
that she truly believed her words and would accept no argument. ”It’s
a book best left unopened and untouched.”

Mierana Kisunei

Mierana blinked for a moment, "How can it be one for
one person and the other for another person?" she asked, slightly
confused as to what Yui could be by that. "And why is
it better left unopened and untouched?" she inquired, curiosity
getting the better of her. Especially considering it seems both of the other
girls had at least at one point read the book.
Mierana then shook her head, "Well... If you really
don't want to tell me though, you don't have to..." she said then
sighed and shrugged.

Yui

Yui smiled as she stood on her tiptoes placing the book on the top of Miaka’s
shelf on the wall. ”Let’s say it’s like eating
large amounts of fresh ginger, some people like it, others don’t. The
book really isn’t meant to be taken out of the library to begin with and is usually
kept locked up in a special room not accessible by the general public so someone
here shouldn’t have it in her possession. However,”
Tilting her head to the side and raising one finger up into the air she winked
at the two of them. ”That’s enough about the
book. Miaka, you said you wanted to talk about something over the phone?
I don’t suppose you had changed your mind about going out for lunch? My
treat?!” She wasn’t sure if Miaka had wanted to talk about the book
or not, but with Mierana present she wasn’t sure how much Miaka had wanted the
other girl to know and was willing to keep it secret from her.

Miaka

Miaka couldn't help but feel a stab to the heart, as Yui referred to the book as
"the greatest love story, or their worst nightmare come to life". She
knew instantly Yui was talking about Tamahome and herself, and then Yui's own
experience. Miaka's eyes followed Yui's every motion, as she placed the book on
her highest shelf. She blinked, as Yui obviously hinted to Miaka for taking the
book out of hiding. Laughing, She snapping out of her dazed mood. "Yeah..
Heh, Heh." Suddenly, an urge came over her to grab the book from the
shelf. If felt as though it was just calling for her to read on. The events
going on currently were interesting, and something she didn't recognize. But,
Yui's offer quickly steered her focus away. "Lunch?!
Of course! Thank you, Yui!" She exclaimed, latching onto her best
friend.

Yui

Knowing that food was one of the ways to her friend’s heart Yui started
laughing glad that the tense atmosphere was gone and her friend was smiling
again. ”Ok it’s decided then. How about you
Mierana? Would you like to come for lunch with us? We’ll have a
girls day out on the city. What do you say?” You smiled
brightly as she caught Miaka in a head lock and started ruffling her hair with
her fingers glad that they could be such good close friends again.

"Why is it suppose to be locked in a room at the
library?" Mierana asked then shook her head, "Nevermind,
I probably don't want to know." Mierana chuckled when Yui put Miaka
in a head lock, "Sure, I'd love to. Don't see a
reason not to anyway." she said and smiled at them. She still wanted
to know about the book, but if something could keep her mind off it, she wasn't
going to stop it. "So where shall we go?"
she queried Yui.

Yui let go of Miaka walking towards the door as she spoke. ”Hummmmm….who’s
up for sushi? I know a great place down the street, or we can try
something else. I know – Mierana, why don’t you pick? I’m up
for anything.”
She kept worrying about Miaka wanting to read the book and wanted to get her out
of the house and as far away from it as she could. Perhaps while she was
out she could call Miaka’s brother and have him return the book to the library
for safekeeping. If not, she would have to keep a closer eye on her friend
until it was safely back in the library.

Miaka giggled, and tried to escape from her friend's headlock. "Yuiii!"
She patted her head, making sure her hair was still in place as two buns.
Smiling she replied, "Yeah, You choose Mierana. I
don't care, Just as long as it's food!!" Her stomach growled. Miaka
clutched her tummy, and laughed.

Mierana thought for a moment about what she would like to eat, "How
about Chinese spring egg rolls? There's this little show that just opened."
she said and licked her lips. Egg rolls were her favorite. "Hey
Miaka, why don't you bring the book you were reading? I'm sure your dying to see
what happens next." she suggested to Miaka before heading towards
the door.

Miaka followed Yui to the door, and clapped her hands together. "Mmm,
Egg rolls sound good! Don't you agree Yui?"
Frozen. Suddenly, Miaka's footsteps stopped dead in the doorway of her room. She
slowly turned around, "The Book? Umm.. I think it's
better left here. I can wait.." Her sentence trailed off, as her
eyes found themselves on the book. It was tempting to agree with Mierana, but
she tried hard to keep walking. But. She couldn't.

The book calls to the two former Priestess as well as Mierana they stop short as
the book begins to glow a bright aqua color.
"Hey what's going on here. I thought that book was
locked up?" Came a couple of male voices from down the Hall. It was
Tamahome and Keisuke. As they walk closer to the book it begins to rise into the
air and open it's pages. the picture displayed is the Konan Empire the book
begins to draw them toward it, all but Keisuke. The next scene you see is the
palace walls all around you.

Tamahome looks around. "Where are we?" he
asks astonished. he looks to Miaka. "Are you
alright?" He asks rushing over to her.

Miaka
-----------------------------------------------------------
Miaka stirred, pushing off the ground to sit up. Her head was spinning, making
her hold her temples as if trying to make the pounding stop. "Oww,
Where are we?" Hearing Tamahome's voice, and knowing that he was
near her made any pain, and doubts leave her. She turned to him, and gripped his
arm. "Tamahome! Tamahome, Are we back in the Universe
of the Four Gods?"
Her eyes jolted around examining the scenery. It looked, and felt familiar.
There was no question, they had been pulled back into the book.

"It looks like we are back in Konan, Miaka lets head
to the palace and see if we can find Hotohori" Tamahome said helping
Miaka to her feet

Miaka
-----------------------------------------------------------
As Miaka rose to her feet, She looked around. It was until now she realized Yui
and Mierana were not there. She felt a rush of panic, "Wait!
Where's Yui? And Mierana?" When Yui and herself first entered the
book, they ended up in the same place. Maybe she was back at Kutou, which was a
painful memory Miaka did not want to bring up.
She nodded, and looked to Tamahome. "Good Idea, Maybe
Hotohori can help!"

Yui

”Ahhhh...M-miaka? W-what...” Yui
slowly started to blink her eyes trying to remembered what had happened. We
were in Miaka’s room getting ready to leave when I remember turning back to
look at Miaka and the book started glowing again and...the book!
Her eyes flew open as she took in her surroundings. In front of her was a
cold stone statue of the god of Seiryuu. The proud dragon god was looking
down at her even as she slowly started to pick herself up and brush off her
clothing. The temple had been repaired since the battle long ago between
Nakago and Tamahome, and with the flowing water and marble walls was a thing of
beauty. Yui found herself shivering as she held her arms close to herself.
”Oh Miaka…what have we managed to get ourselves
involved in this time?” She whispered quietly in the cold empty
room.

Nakago

"Priestess? Is that you? What are you doing back in
this world?" came a voice from near by. It was Nakago, but he had
changed somehow. He looked more peaceful then he had the last time she had seen
him. He came close to her and kneeled before her taking her hand and thanking
Seiryuu that the Priestess had returned.

Yui

Her thoughts were broken by the unexpected, yet familiar voice behind her.
Quickly turning around her eyes widened in shock as she watched Nakago walk
toward her, his blue hair flowing behind him even as he quickly crossed the room
bending down on his knee before her. She had wanted to pull her hand away,
to demand that he explain how he could still be in the book world but just
looked at him stunned as he took her cold hand in his warm one.
Shaking her head slightly as she looked down at him she tried not to be fooled
by his peaceful expression. She had made the mistake of trusting him once
and it had almost cost her a valued friendship and her life when Seiryuu almost
consumed her. ”I am here quite by accident and I
plan to get back as soon as possible.” She didn’t want to admit
that she had no way of knowing how or why she had been sucked back into the book
in the first place.

Nakago

as if reading her mind, Nakago grinned. "Genbou and
Biaku and been erased from existence, and there are two new kingdoms in their
place Lady Yui. They are Goden and Dria (god of war and goddess of Beauty) They
fight like Konan and we did several years ago." he rose from his
knee and turned toward the door, "we received word
yesterday that Dria Soldiers were going to attack Konan, Come we must go and
help them to protect their city." he looked at Yui. "And
I assume that since you are back in this world that your friend Miaka must be
also, which means she is going to be caught right in the cross fire."

Yui

Her mind reeled even as she showed no outward appearance of being shocked as she
listened to him speak. Watching him as stood up she tried to figure out
why they had not noticed the disappearance of the Biaku and Genbou, suddenly
wondering if that was what pulled Miaka to take the book without realizing it.
Walking up to Nakago she looked up at him with a serious look on her face.
”How is it that the Kutou empire is suddenly ready to
help protect Konan? What has gone on here since we were here last?
Nakago, how many years have passed since I summoned Seiryuu?”

Nakago

"I would say about 30 years have passed since you
left us my lady. in that time we were attacked by another country and Konan came
to our rescue since our powers had been sealed. we are repaying the debt owed to
them. once you appeared here again the power once sealed away have been reopened
to us, and we plan on using them for good." Nakago explained

Yui
-----------------------------------------------------------
Yui’s only outward show of shock was a quick blinking of her eyes as Nakago
spoke. She found it hard to believe that this was the same person she had
come to know and trust in the book world only to be used for his own purposes.
The empire bent of taking over the other empires and infighting suddenly working
alongside the Konan empire.
”If Mi, the Konan empire is in trouble and we have given
our word that we will assist, what is being done? Will we be going there
right away to assist?” She tried to keep the hope out of her
voice. She was worried about her two friends wondering if they had also
been parted and if they were safe.

Nakago

"Yes Lady Yui, we must leave at once. They need us to
help guard the walls since they don't have enough soldiers at Konan right now,
They have sent some to Kusco to find out why the Emperor has ordered the
attack." Nakago said as he headed out of the temple and toward his
horse. He climbed on and pulled Lady Yui up behind him.

Yui

Yui followed Nakago out of the temple as his cape flew behind him. Looking
around the courtyard she watched as many warriors started preparing for the long
trip to Konan. There were some young boys not much older than her with
grins on their faces, eager for the battle ahead. Some of the seasoned
warriors were quieter as they started wrapping their Armour around their bodies,
the polished helmets gleaming in the sun. She wished that she hadn’t
returned to the book world during a time of strife or war again, but gave a
thankful sigh of relief knowing that they would be battling for something good
this time, pleased that she could repay Miaka for the hardships she gave her the
first time.
”Then let’s make haste Nakago. The sooner we can
lend out support the better.” …and the faster we can all
return to our own worlds. She thought to herself as she put her arms around
his chest.

Nakago

Nakago made a forward motion with his hand and the soldiers that were there
followed him toward Konan. "Lady Yui, You are
surprised that we help Konan. May I ask why?" Nakago asked her, as
they road toward Konan.

Yui

Only because the last time I was here the Kutou empire
was bent on taking over the Konan empire and possibly the entire world.
That you yourself staged an uprising against the emperor and killed him so that
you could rule. You yourself used my best friend as a way of getting me to
do what you wanted…
Yui only shook her head as she continued to hold Nakago. ”I
am only surprised to find myself back here again Nakago. It is a pity that
it has to be during a time of possible war, but if the two empires can work
together to protect Konan from Dria, then perhaps we can lessen the casualties
and help do some good.” An odd sensation spread through her body
as she slightly loosened her grip on him. ”N-nakago,
who is the emperor of the Kutou?”

"A kind young man named Tomoa Yeramesa. He has helped
the poor people a lot over the last 20 years, before that we had no emperor. May
I ask why you wanted to know this Lady Yui?" Nakago asked.

Yui

”Now that I am back, it is important that I learn as
much as I can about my surroundings and of those empires and people I will be
dealing with Nakago. Tell me, the other Seiryuu seven are they also
currently on their way to Konan or are they there already helping out?”
She kept her voice calm and unwavering despite Nakago’s questioning of her.
She wouldn’t allow herself to fall prey to his calm, soothing, and calculating
words ever again, even if he had changed.

"Well, No we are the only ones that are on our way
there. I couldn't find any one else and thought after this thing was over we
could go find them together" Nakago told Yui as they traveled down
the road. "is there anything else you wish to know
that I can answer?"

Around him the bandits seemed to chatter away in a foreign language, or perhaps
he just wasn't paying attention. The fiery-haired bandit closed his amber
colored eyes and leaned his head within one hand. He was bored beyond belief.
Very few people came up to the mountain these days, so that left little for them
to do. They were all restless. In the distance he could hear Kouji talking,
drunk as usual. Then again, so were the rest of the bandits. He leaned back in
his chair, his free hand gripping a small bottle of sake that he lifted to his
lips and took a sip of it.
What else was there to do but drink? It's not like he was able to be around the
gang, the other six of the Suzaku Senshi. Then again, most of them were dead
anyway. He sighed and drained the rest of the bottle, then stood up, tossing the
empty bottle to the side and picking up his tessen as he got to his feet. Within
one motion, he easily sheathed the tessen behind his back and walked out of the
room. He wandered down the hallway and pushed open the door of the hideout, then
stepped into the cool night air.
Above him the sky was clear and the stars were out. His amber eyes wandered
above towards the sky, and he scanned the heavens. He could easily make out the
various constellations of his fellow warriors. 'I
wonder how the other remaining Senshi are doing,' he thought to
himself. After a moment, he shook his head and headed towards a small spot not
far from the hideout, then sat down on the grass, his back against the tree. Now
what, he wondered, what was he supposed to do when his team of bandits were out
of work?

A figure appears behind Tasuki You can't tell who the person is or anything all
you hear is a voice telling you what you need to do.
"You are to go to the palace in Konan." a voice said "The
Emperor will be needing your help soon The Kusco Empires Soldiers are about to
attack them. Also a new Priestess will be appearing along with Suzaku's
Priestess."

Jumping a couple feet into the air from surprise, he blinked and looked over
towards the mysterious figure. 'The hell...?'
he thought and stood slowly, his hand moving to the tessen to pull it from the
sheath as he listened to the voice. "Oii.. Who are
you and how do you know this? For all I know, you could be the cause!"
Taking a slight step back, he held the tessen in front of him, his hands wrapped
around the handle tightly and a look of curiosity mixed with suspicion and
annoyance within his eyes. "And, just what do you
mean that a new priestess will be appearing?!"

"That is all I can tell you. You must hurry. The
Kusco Forces will probably attack tonight." and with that the
stranger disappeared.

He frowned as the figure disappeared before he could speak again. Konan..
Pulling himself to his feet, he headed back towards the hut. He didn't know why,
but for some reason he believed the figure. He'd have to get to Konan. Now. Not
bothering to explain to the bandits in the stable, he muttered something about
Kouji being in charge until he returned, grabbed a horse and rode off towards
Konan.

Mierana sat up and rubbed her head before glancing around. This definitely
wasn't where she was a minute ago. After a moment of looking around she realized
she was alone. "Miaka? Yui? Where are you guys?"
she asked the surrounding wilderness, hoping to hear an answer from somewhere
nearby. She then paused for a moment.
"For that matter... Where am I?" she
asked as she stood up and brushed herself off. She had a bad feeling about all
this. She tried to see if she could remember anything unusual... She did
remember one thing. That book that Miaka had been reading had started to glow
and had pulled them toward it. She couldn't be in the book, could she?
Mierana had a scared look on her face as she looked in all directions, "MIAKA!?
YUI!?" she called out for her friends. Surely even if Miaka or Yui
couldn't hear her, someone else could? At the moment she just didn't want to be
alone in a strange place.

A mysterious form appears near the girl. "head to the
east you shall come across a man on Horse back. He can take you to your
friends" he then vanishes leaving her alone once more.

Mierana stared at the form for a moment. "He
can?" she asked a second before the form disappeared. "Huh?
Where'd he go?" she asked perplexed before she looked towards the
east, "Well, if there's someone who can take me to my
friends then I'll go." she murmured to herself and set off at a pace
a little faster than a walk to the east, hoping to come across the man on
horseback.

Amber eyes fixed on the path ahead of him, he became lost within his thoughts,
his mind swirling with questions. 'A new priestess..?
One to replace Miaka-Chan? Naaahhhh! Can't be..' He bowed his head
and smirked slightly, one of his pointed fangs being bared for a moment before
his horse suddenly came to a stop. Blinking, he looked at his horse and then the
road ahead of him. There was nothing there. "Oii!!!
What's wrong with you, you stupid horse? GET YER A** MOVIN!" As much
as he yelled at the horse, it didn't move. Infact, his words echoed through the
area he was in. He kicked his horse in the sides and yelled at it more, but the
horse continued to act as if he were deaf. The hell was the horses problem?!

Mierana continued to walk to the east until she saw caught sight of a mounted
figure. She stopped for a moment and blinked. "There
really is a man on a horse." she whispered to herself before running
forward she was a few feet away from the man on the horse. "Excuse
me...? Um... Are you who the strange man was talking about?" she
asked, then realized that sounded a little odd, "Are
you the man who can take me to my friends Miaka and Yui?"

Jumping off the horse, he tugged on the reins as he stood in front of the horse.
"COME ON LET'S GO YA DUMB HORSE!" He
scowled, but the horse refused to move, "what the
he**'s wrong with you?!" However, when the girl came through the
woods to the area they were in, the horse stepped forward, causing him to fall
backwards onto his butt. Grumbling, he stood slowly and turned to look at the
girl. Girl? Hey! Maybe he could get some money!
He sneered at the girl, and went to give her a smart remark, but stopped. "Err..
You know Miaka-Chan?" he blinked. Strange man? Perhaps this was the
new priestess the strange man had been talking about..

Mierana blinked when the firry haired man fell on his butt. She stared at him,
she hadn't expected him to know Miaka, "Of course I
know Miaka, I'm Mierana, one of her friends from school... How do you know
Miaka?" she asked him suspiciously. She wondered how a strange man
like this could know her friend.

"I'm one of her guardians," he said as he
turned away, taking the reins of his horse into his hand before looking at the
girl, "and if you're referring to the man dressed in
all black that wouldn't show is face, I have met the same man."
Brushing his fiery hair away from his face he looked at her for a moment. He had
to get to Konan as quickly as possible, "oi, if
Miaka's back then she'll be at the capitol. If ya want a ride ya better hurry
up." Turning away he climbed back onto his horse and looked at her,
holding a hand out. Miaka would kick his butt if he left one of her friends in
the open, no matter how much he despised women.

Mierana wasn't sure what to say, or think, when Tasuki said he was one of
Miaka's guardians, as she wasn't quite sure what that meant. She nodded when he
spoke of the mysterious figure, "Unless there are
others, that is who I spoke of." she stated. She stared at his
offered hand for a moment before taking it and letting him help her onto the
horse. "What did you mean that you are one of Miaka's
guardians?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her, "I
mean... I didn't know Miaka knew anyone like you."

He twitched at her comment and bit his tongue for the first time in who knows
how long. "Oi.. Every Priestess has a set of
guardians - seven celestial warriors. I was one of Miaka's seven guardians.
Since you're her friend, I guess you know Tamahome.." he explained
as he rode along the path after finally getting his horse to start. "And,
if ya think I'm strange, ya should meet Nuriko the fairy boy." He
chuckled and then looked around. Suzaku help him if the purple haired warrior
heard that.

Mierana blinked at the mention of priestesses, "Miaka..."
she hesitated for a small moment, "Is a
priestess?" she asked, finishing her question. She had never thought
of her friend as a priestess and was starting to think this man had a few screws
loose. She blinked as he said 'Nuriko the fairy boy' and suddenly got an image
of her head of some little boy with butterfly wings before she shook her head. "Fairy
boy?" she asked him, still curious.

"Oi, ya obviously don't know Miaka as well as you
think you do.. Miaka is our Suzaku no Miko. She's the one that's saved Konan
from complete destruction thanks to the Kutou empire and the Seiryuu
warriors." How ditzy was this girl?! He went quiet as he rode along.
It'd take half the day to reach Konan, and that was if he had his horse running
the entire way.

Mierana pouted slightly when Tasuki said that she didn't know her friend as well
as she thought she did. She didn't really like people telling her she didn't
know about someone she considered a friend, as it gave her the feeling that
anything she didn't know could be very bad. She shuddered slightly at that
thought but didn't say anything, she just decided to stay quiet during the ride,
unless he spoke up. She realized that he hadn't even given his name, nor had she
asked it, even though she had given hers, but she had no intention to ask a
stranger whom wasn't exactly the friendliest person their name.

Tamahome looked around for a moment before grabbing Miaka's hand and headed
toward the throne room. They entered just as Taka ran past mumbling something
about a raid happening that night. Tamahome headed in the direction that Taka
had come from still holding Miaka's hand. they came upon the room where Hotohori
and Haktura were. just in time to hear Haktura ask about adding guards to the
wall. He looked at Miaka and then at the girl that lay in the bed.

"Excuse me Miss, what did you say your name
was?" Tamahome asked as he pulled Miaka into the room with him.
"Haktura, I am a warrior of Dria, and also the
princess Of Kusco." She said with a half way grin "and

Miaka stumbled in after Tamahome. Feeling slightly embarrassed, she quickly lets
go of Tamahome's hand and brushes off her skirt. She gives a polite bow, and
finishes off the introductions. "It's very nice to
meet you, My name's Miaka Yuki." She replied, smiling at the
princess.

"Miaka! Y-Your the Priestess of legend, I was told
you went back to your own world. I.." Haktura stopped she was still
in a lot of pain. She cringed as it coursed through her body. She screamed in
agony as the pain got worse not better like it should have done. Under her
breath you could hear her mumble these words. "Mitsukake
I wish you had traveled with me, I'm sorry I turned you down. Oh Dria please
send me help please tell Mitsukake I need him." then all is quiet as
she passes out from the pain.
Hotohori turned to Miaka and Tamahome. "Come we need
to talk, I will tell you everything that has happened in the last week or
so." He lead them both toward the throne room.

Miaka was startled by the sudden excitement from Haktura. She smiled and nodded,
It was always nice to be recognized and known. "Yes,
That's me--"
The Young Woman's screams interrupted her. Haktura wriggled around in pain
making Miaka wince, and reach out to help her. Before, She could do anything
Hotohori was already leading her out. "B-But, Wait!
Is she going to be alright?" She asked with concern, as she
witnessed her passing out.

"She will be fine Miaka, she just needs a lot of
rest, and I have already sent word to Mits that he is needed, so please relax
and don't worry about her." Hotohori said as he led them away. "We
have had a few villages at the edge of the border that were attacked in the last
few days, we didn't know who had done it till Haktura showed up and warned us
that they were going to attack us tonight. Kutou will be arriving with in the
hour, Nakago sent word that Yui had arrived a few moments ago and that they were
preparing to help us with the raid." Hotohori explained after they
arrived in the throne room.
A mysterious figure appeared in the room. "Your
majesty, the new priestess and Tasuki should be arriving soon I can say no more
then that." The stranger disappeared as
quickly as he had appeared shocking all that were there.

"What is this about a new priestess?"
Hotohori asked but the figure was gone. He turned to Miaka. "Did
anyone else besides Yui come from your world as well?" a startled
look appeared on his face. it vanished quickly and he started to explain what
had been going on the last 30 years since Miaka and Tamahome had left. "Genbou
and Biaku have been erased from existence, and there are two new kingdoms in
their place. They are Goden and Dria (god of war and goddess of Beauty) They
fight like Kutou and we did several years ago. I would say about 30 years have
passed since you left us. In that time Kutou was attacked by another country and
we came to their rescue since their powers had been sealed. Now that the two of
you have appeared and I assume Yui has as well they have their powers back, lets
just hope they use them for good and not return to their evil ways. Infact they
are on their way here to help us protect Konan from Kusco."

Miaka nearly shouted at the mentioning of her friend, "Yui?!"
At least it seemed Yui was safe, but now there only was the question of
Mierana. It also just accured to Miaka that Hotohori just explained that Kutou
was going to help them. That was definitely something very odd to hear
being said. "Help? Why would Kutou want to help us?
Are you sure this isn't a trap?" Many questions were still buzzing
about in her head. Then, As thought a switch was turned on and the light bulb
lit up Miaka discovered something. "Yes!
Yes, Someone else did arrive with us. My friend, Mierana but I'm afraid I don't
know where she ended up. Could that be her?! Could she be the new
priestess?!"

Hotohori

Hotohori Smiled at Miaka, So there was a new priestess. was she for Goden or
Dria? "It's been a long time Miaka. How have you and
Tamahome been? But aside from that, Kutou changed big time after Yui sealed
their powers. When we helped them out they swore allegiance to us and we made a
treaty of some sort with us. There is no trap about it. Plain and simple."
Hotohori sat on his throne wishing he knew more about the attackers, but with
Haktura out cold and Mitsukaki so far away... He was getting more worried by the
minuet.

Miaka returned the smile to Hotohori, and glanced over to Tamahome. "Tamahome,
and I have been good." As Hotohori quickly changed subjects, Miaka's
trail of thought moved on as well. The idea of Kutou being an ally just seemed
so strange. "Oh, I had no idea. So, Then I guess
Kutou is on our side." She breathed a sigh of relief. This meant
that it eliminated of any battles between Yui, again.

"Yeah I know it feels strange but then again, it is a
good thing to have someone that strong as an ally" Hotohori said
with a smile.

The soft sounds of hooves on stone echoed through the front of the palace as the
bandit rode through the front gates and into the main courtyard. He glanced over
his shoulder towards Mierana and raised an eyebrow, "yer
quiet." A few attendants came out in a hurry as he jumped off his
horse and turned away from the girl, "well come on!
If you wanna see Miaka-Chan you'll have to follow me." A faint smirk
touched his lips, upper lip curling enough to show the tip of one of his fangs
briefly, wondering where fairy boy was. He had some torturing to catch up on.

Miaka nodded, and agreed with Hotohori. "You're
right." This gave her the comforting feeling that maybe this time
around, her experience in the book wouldn't be as hard and painful as the first
time. Just as the Miaka was about to question Hotohori about the whereabouts of
the other warriors of Suzaku, Tasuki's voice was heard. It felt good to be
reunited with all of her friends, "It's Tasuki!"

Mierana slipped gracefully off of the horse and shrugged, "Am
I suppose to not be quiet?" she asked him. She nodded to him, "Yeah,
I do want to see Miaka.. Are you sure she's here?" she asked, not
quite believing that Miaka could be in a palace like this. She blinked as she
soon heard Miaka's voice, "Miaka? Is that you?"
she asked, slightly disbelieving her ears.

He sneered a bit, half tempted to give her a smart remark, but amazingly he
didn't. Turning, he started off towards the palace hallways, "Miiiaaakaaa,
where are yoooouuuuu?" His voice rang through the hallways and he
snickered softly. Maybe there'd be a reward for bringing the Suzaku no Miko's
friend to the palace?

Hotohori and Tamahome went into the hall behind Miaka and spotted Tasuki with
the new girl. "Tasuki good to see ya again. Please
all of you come this way I've had a meal prepared for you all. Come and
eat." Hotohori exclaimed and lead everyone to the dinning hall.

Miaka left the room to see Tasuki, and Mierana. She ran to her friend, and threw
her arms around her in a tight embrace. "Mierana!
You're okay!" She was so glad that she was able to be reunited with
her friend. It was a good thing, because Mierana had never heard of the Universe
of the Four Gods. If Mierana would have been left alone, who knew what could
have happened.
Miaka soon let go of her friend, and smiled. She looked over to Tasuki, "Thank
you, Tasuki! For bringing Mierana here." Now if only the rest of the
warriors were here. Where were they anyways? She blinked, and looked around. "Hey,
Where is everyone else? Now, That I think about. I haven't seen them
anywhere."

Mierana's eyes lit up when she saw Miaka, "Miaka!
You're really here!" she exclaimed and hugged her friend back. She
was sooo glad that she was reunited with Miaka. She also had a few questions for
her friend that were nagging slightly at her. "Is
what that guy says correct? Are you really a priestess?" she asked
gesturing briefly to Tasuki. "And for that matter...
Where are we exactly anyway?"

Tamahome walked into the room and grinned when he saw Mierana and that she was
in good health. "Now all we need to do is wait till
Yui gets here." He said a grin still on his face.

Miaka

Miaka gave a nervous laugh, as she scratched the back of her head. "Uhmm,
Ya see? Well.." There was no denying it, and she felt that her
friend had the right to know. She sighed, "Yes, What
Tasuki says is true. I am the Priestess of Suzaku. It's a really long
story.." But, She went along to tell Mierana anyways. She told her
of how Yui and herself found the "Universe of the Four Gods" book in
the library, and it sucked them in. About all of the four gods. How Tamahome
saved them, and Miaka was taken to the palace where she met Hotohori. How they
claimed she was the priestess from another world, and found the other 7
warriors. The story went on as she explained that Yui, and herself became
enemies, and Suzaku managed to defeat Seiryuu.
"..And that's what happened." Miaka took
in a deep breath, as the story took a lot of breath to explain.

Hotohori sits at the head of the table and has the maids bring in the Meal that
had been prepared. all the delicious food is set before them and the maids leave
them to their meal. "So Miaka Please introduce your
friend to us."

Miaka jumped, as she had totally forgotten her manners. She embarrassedly
blushed, and responded. "Y-Yes! Everyone is this my
friend, Mierana Kisunei."

Mierana looked slightly spellbound as she listened to Miaka's recount of all
that had happened. She stared at Miaka for a few moments after she finished the
story. After she was introduced, she looked at Hotohori, "I've
been introduced to them, but they haven't been to me.." she said
with an amused smile.

"My apologies, I am Hotohori, Emperor of this
Kingdom, This is Tasuki. (the one that brought you here) and This is of course
you already know Tamahome, He is another of the Suzaku seven, as well as am I
and Tasuki." Hotohori said.
This story was never finished due to the fact that the game was deleted shortly after the final post was made. But word has it that the game is starting over and hopefully this time it will go beyond this point.
